There are stories in this work for me— part of my own past, who I was. There’s one in a barn, from when I worked on farms—there’s part of myself in that, somewhere in there…and there’s a representation of being out walking…

The creative side of it allows me to move forward in my own life.  It takes me out of the shadow side.  It involves my consciousness of moving from the past, moving out of the shadows.  It takes me out of the north mode and into the south mode.

The Unicorn and the Mermaid…it’s someone going away, out of my life, and me galloping forward into the future, letting go of the past.

A Resting Tramp, contemplating under the Tree. That’s part of me when I first landed in Cornwall, moving about the land and allowing nature to do the healing.  The land will heal anything if you have faith and trust in it–have trust in Nature’s green hand.

Several Sniggins (Spirits Underground). The sniggins are nature spirits.  They play a part in healing, but also they are part of me facing my own shadow and demons. They reside in the stones. A lot of people don’t see them, but they’re there. They spiral in and out.
