We are having such a busy time at Roaming these days I sometimes forget to photograph the proceedings! However, this Thursday I managed a post-lunch snap that included Nancy, one of our directors who was with us for the day and Toby’s lino printing set up.

Roaming means to wander, or travel freely, with no particular destination. In fact we meet most Thursdays at the Breadline Centre in Penzance, or sometimes nearby, outdoors. That’s pretty specific. We may walk sometimes, explore in a more literal sense. But mainly we explore the connections that bring us together and keep us coming back. We make drawings or music or lunch or conversation. Through these we both share what is unique about each of us and confirm what we have in common. We share a respect for ourselves, one another, and the structures that make it possible for us to be together, such as St. Petrocs, or The Community Fund. We make time for one anther, make observations, associations, let ourselves be curious. We wander together on a journey of discovery.
